Greetings,
Last week we challenged you with some questions about peace in your life:
- What does peace mean to you?
- Do you have it? and
- How can you get more of it?
Over the next 4 weeks we hope to bring you some tools and answers to these questions. Everyone wants peace, and we know that God desires you to have it. In fact, it’s a commandment to seek peace (Ps. 34:14, Matt 5:9), it’s a “fruit of the spirit,” and it’s mentioned 429 times in the Bible. Therefore, God thinks a lot about peace.
Peace can mean different things to people, but the overarching “feeling that we desire” is…less anxiety, no turmoil, our stomach isn’t in a knot, fear is diminished and we just simply feel more restful. Joyce Meyer suggests “to be peaceful means freedom from wrong mental activity.”
Hearts Song Life Coaching works weekly with women who struggle with wrong mental activity, which leads to a lack of peace. That’s why, today, we are excited to begin to bring you a deeper look at 4 different kinds of peace:
- Peace of Mind
- Peace that passes Understanding
- Peace and Quiet
- Peace and Contentment
Mark your calendar…because next Tuesday we will be looking at Peace of Mind.
We hope your heart is singing, Peace be with you!
