COMPARISON
Hi Friends!
Have you ever gotten a new item of clothing, new shoes or a new “toy” that makes you stand taller and feel more confident in your ability to seize the day?
We’ve been looking at Comparison for 9 weeks, with the hope that you have a “New” perspective and awareness about comparison in your own life. When we truly choose to change a behavior, our thoughts become new and exciting! There is a new feeling of freedom and relief. This brings us to our 10th and final letter “N”.
Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
If we enjoy those “fun” new things in our lives, think about how much more a new way of thinking will affect you. “Things” wear out, but our thoughts can be forever changed. We see in Isaiah that when God does a new thing, there will be roads and rivers given to us in difficult places.
