Welcome Back!
Our “Motherhood” class has been such a great success. It never ceases to amaze us that the more classes we do the more we learn and grow ourselves. One of the highlights of this class is what we learned about the overwhelming issue of Comparison.
Sandra Stanley shares, “The temptation to compare is relentless for women. We are quick to compare our appearances, our homes, our careers and our successes. Often, we compare our pasts, our failures and even our sins. It’s exhausting and it’s a thief of our peace.”
Last week we shared with you our mission statement. It states that renewing your mind can bring peace and contentment regardless of circumstance. The act of comparison starts with our thoughts that say to us “I’m not enough!” This my friends could not be further from the truth.
For the next few weeks, we’ll be looking at this paralyzing issue that’s too common in our lives. Sticking to our “formula”, we will be using the beloved acronym. Our word…COMPARISON. We will bring tools, scripture and hope to help you kick comparison to the curb!
See you next week.
We hope your heart is singing!
