This week we would like to “nourish” your self-care in your thought life. Our thought life determines our decisions, reactions, confidence and overall feeling towards life…we love this quote,” It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to, has power over you, if you allow it.”
So, what do you give power to in your mind? Is it really possible to be transformed by renewing your mind? Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
We all have a committee in our head that loves to bring a good debate challenging our ability to stay positive. Here is a great tool that you can coach yourself through quickly and easily.
- Pin point the lie in the thought:
Ex: I can never do anything right!
- Ask yourself what’s truth for today:
Ex: I will do my best and that brings me peace.
“You’d never invite a thief into your house…so why would you allow thoughts that steal your joy to make themselves at home in your mind?”
We hope your heart is nourished!
